We had a great time snorkeling, fishing or just relaxing. You have all the comforts of home but on your very own private island. Words can't say enough to explain the experience. The reef is excellent and the island is perfect. We have been to the Great Barrier Reef, the Florida Keys, Hawaii, The Philippines and all over the Caribbean. This is the best snorkeling experience by far. With the shallow water there is no need for scuba gear. This is a great place for a family get-away or fun for all ages. Recommended for: Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Pet-friendly, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a car, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway.

Fred!~ I don't think that words can really describe how amazingly special Bird Island is! The 5 days we spend here is the best we ever spend together anywhere. Peaceful, serene, no worries, no stress. The house is so cute. It has everything a person would need. Your vision was amazing and allowing us to experience what you have created has been a true gift. Thank you.!! We paddle boated the entire atoll, fished off the pier, snorkeled for days...Today the Seahorse Dive Shop pulled right to the edge of the reef and Jeff & I paddled to it and spend a great day out with them out on the main Belizian reef snorkeling over some fabulous coral reefs, seeing even larger fish of every type, including sharks, and saw turtles of every kind, including green turtles. Last night, to end our experience, we walked out to build a fire and we noticed that the waters around the island where glowing, sparkling with fluorescent plankton and the stars were out by the thousands, it all looked like the stars had fallen from the sky unto the water. We are already working on the plan to come back with the family; meaning brother in law, etc. Then with the kids. Again thank you for a special experience.

What an amazing place you have built. This has been the most amazing trip that my wife and I thought was possible. I am amazed at this perfect house and with so many amenities on an atoll in the middle of the ocean. We thank you so much for sharing it with us. We spend idealistic days of snorkeling, fishing, paddle boating, photographing lobsters and every kind of tropical fish, but above all we got to take in some fantastic sunrises and sunsets. We will be back, but next time with our boys!

Fred- Your vision for Bird Island is epic. It's everything we were hoping for and more. My only regret is not booking this place for more nights. Amanda & I will definitely be coming back here soon after we make our move to Belize in the next year or so. Thank you for everything!

Fred this island is amazing, you've created a lovely little escape here, it's so well done and the location makes it an unforgettable experience. We have loved our time here and will not forget having a cup of tea while watching so many fish floating by our feet.
